I am the second eldest of eight children...so laundry was always a BIG deal in my house. While growing up, my mom had a wringer washing machine, an "automatic" one and two dryers.
How I LOVED to do laundry with the wringer...you just had to be careful when putting the clothes thru the wringer part.
April 5 Washing machine- thank God for not having to wash clothes in the creek!
